Lexical has successfully facilitated Lapan Parepare in the upgrading of their existing system, that can only receive raw MODIS data, to a customized system that is capable of meeting Lapan’s requirements to provide their customers with the desired products.

As a full fledge meteorological system integrator, Lexical offered the most ideal solution to their existing problem. The solution had benefited Lapan extensively as follows:

1. Cost  effectiveness. Lexical minimized the need to replace any parts of Lapan’s existing MODIS system that are still in working conditions. This effectively reduces the overall cost in Lapan’s upgrade.

2. Maximize usage of MODIS data. It is imperative that Lapan is able to make full use of their MODIS data. This is where the ability to generate advance (level 2) meteorological products from MODIS raw data is very important. Lexical’s leading edge over other competitors is its capability of generating a wide range of complex meteorological products from meteorological satellite raw data.

3. Wide range of services. Now, with the above capability of generating a wide range of complex meteorological products from meteorological satellite raw data, Lapan is able to provide their enhanced services to a wider range of users than before.
